Why ? Who would ever want to honestly defend Scott Peterson ? This was mainly because Threads concerning peterson were flooding all areas. He was the main topic of every area over riding all other inmates. Therefore, the peterson area was made......and it's much much better in here now. hugggz, Suzanne |

Jared; I don't get your question. Since CCADP even 'defends' serial killers who admit their guilt; why ever would we not defend someone charged with killing his wife; who asserts his innocence? We offer space to any person condemned to death anywhere in the world; whether or not Nancy Grace and Catherine Crier like them |

I figure there are those who are truly unworthy and far to evil to defend

Ummm..I don't get the comparison. If he is in fact guilty; he is a killer of one (a pregnant one).
Certainly no serial killer.
I'd say out of 4000 on DR; probably 3500 crimes are more brutal and even more terrible. Its the media spin that has people comparing this guy to Ted Bundy. Its really ridiculous and the more I see it the more I want to advocate for this prisoner.

Besides from what I know of inmates and their attitudes towards individuals like Scott
you will not have to defend him from the DP for very long
the first chance other inmates have to get near Scott........no more Scott

He may not be a serial killer Tracy....but his crime was equally as disgusting

I know dozens of SQ inmates some of whom are housed with Peterson. I have written several of them to tell them if they buy the media manipulations they are on the side of those who want ALL of them beaten and killed; and not on the side of we who have worked so hard for them for years. Many, many DR prisoners there are represented on our pages; which is of value to them. If anyone does anything like that; they can look to Crazy Pros to make a webpage for them or advocate for them. I have not heard of him having any problems to date.

Oh well we just agree to disagree on this.......I personally abhor what Scott has done...And truly hope that he spends the rest of his miserable life rotting in his cell

And as a mother who went through a pregnancy with my husband who very much wanted the child; I can tell you that for many, if not most; men - the idea of a child is not actually real til the child is born. When I was lovingly following the fetus' probable progress and growth; Dave didn't like to hear those kinds of details; and I don't think it was really real to him till the baby was born! and he is the most loving and connected father. Also; since 13 different death row prisoners who were once considered guilty as sin with what looked like way more evidence against them (remember there is NO evidence in the peterson case; it is PURELY circumstantial); originally wrote us claiming innocence -which no one believed - and have since been released and exonerated; we DO not believe the courts are always right; so we allow each and every person under sentence of death to present their case. There are thousands of men who kill their wives and vice versa. Does that make them all serial killers? In fact; men who kill their wives are rarely sentenced to death - sadly; the courts often treat domestic crimes as lesser. The Peterson case was different because of the media spotlight. |
