Some of the time...Especially the comics...And Ann Landers...But yes, for the most part. However, it depends on the paper. One of the last newspaper wars is the St. Petersburg Times and the Tampa Tribune... The Times is liberal and the Tribune is conservative...

However, I think we are getting away from the topic...I think if Gill wants to write the guy, she should be able to...It is her right, priviledge, and postage after all and I will not stand in her way...I might question her, but I would not stop her.

Well, as far as Cartwright is concerned, they left out a lot and made things sound like something else, like him refusing an interview, that was prior to him getting on death watch. When he was on deathwatch, he was seeking interviews. TDCJ even denied KRIS an interview. I still have the e mail from the reporter as proof. There's more, but I'm not going to go there right now....going to bed. I know I've showed you this linkg before, but check out the case summary on how his lawyer "strategically didn't object" when he should have: www.clarkprosecutor.org/html/death/US/cartwright969.htmHe lost his case because his lawyer didn't do his job.

The moral of the story is.....you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.

Hmmmm, who was it that said Rich should have taken the deal rather than plead not guilty? I'll have to check.....bbl. That was me. I just said it was unfortunate for Rich because he was offered a 40 year sentence.
