lolli...I agree with everything you said about Nancy Grace. She is truly a disgrace to our justice system.
Scott sold Laci's Land Rover on January 29, 2003.
I have a 'news' flash for Ms. Grace, just because someone is arrested doesn't mean they are guilty.

Griffin's brother Steve, 13 months his junior, was the unimpressed one. "I thought she was a dingbat," he said.
There ya go. The only one with good sense. Little brother Steve. You go, Steve!
It's just a shame that all the rest of the dingbats in the country hang onto Nancy's every word when those words affect someone else's life.
Thank heaven for people like Barry Scheck and Helen Prejean and Hugo Bedau and plenty of others who are too busy actually doing something worthwhile with their lives.

If I am not mistaken, Nancy has been wrong before, but I've never actually seen her admit it. I just do not agree that she is only about finding justice for victims, I think she enjoys the spotlight too much. I hardly watch CNN anymore, but I make it a point to avoid her show. I think Nancy does not believe there are actually such things as Wrongful Convictions! I saw a quote in a book yesterday that a prosecutor's job is not to be judge and jury. Maybe somebody ought to clue her in on that.

I think many watch her strictly for entertainment. I can find better things to entertain myself with. And no, she should not run her show like a courtroom. She had no business ambushing and drilling Melinda Duckett like she did. But it is strange that she seems to side with Josh, the baby's dad, since he refused to pay child support and IMO has suspicious behavior as well. I don't trust the guy's word, he has continued to paint Melinda in a bad light, and point fingers of blame toward her. What guy wouldn't have at least some decency or respect towards the mother of his child? Especially since she is dead. He wouldn't get my vote for father of the year, that's for sure. Nancy is despicable, no doubt about it. Those bullying tactics she employs might work in a courtroom, but not on a network news show. And I think it's going to catch up to her, sooner or later. She has been highly criticized by many more ethical and reputable journalists, and yet I have seen few, if any, who have defended her.

She was well parodied on SNL last night (Oct 7 2006).

There has been no suspicious behavior on his part. I cant even imagine how he must feel. Have you been following this case lately, cause Melinda Duckett is now the prime suspect? Josh's mother had been writing letters to the governor begging him for custody of Trenton prior to his disappearance because Melinda was making verbal threats that she was going to hurt the child. Melinda was a self mutilator. She wouldn't tell police or anyone her where-abouts the day of the disappearance. The night she reported him missing, many of his things were found in her dumpster including his toys, toy box, photos and sonogram pictures of him. Why did she throw away his things the night he vanished? That proves she was involved. I feel sorry for Josh, and for Trenton. And its real shame that Josh's mothers letters to the governor were ignored! It's a real shame that children are left with unstable mothers like Andrea Yates, and Melinda Duckett. More should be done to prevent this kind of stuff, and something more could have been done here.

She was well parodied on SNL last night (Oct 7 2006). Sorry I missed it. Ever watch Justice? There's a blonde talk show hostess that's always giving the defense attorney a hard time and always winds up looking like a fool by the end. The character has a bit more class than Nancy, but you definitely know who it's supposed to be.

However, Josh was not paying child support, so that leads me to believe that he is not to be trusted, either. It seems that the media is overplaying these things to sway public opinion, just as they did with Scott!I am not debating whether or not Melinda was responsible for Trenton's disappearance. I am saying that Nancy Grace was out of line with the way she handled that interview, and should take at least some responsibility for what happened. Melinda had not been charged with anything, so NG had no right to interrogate her in the manner she did!! She was not in a courtroom.

No one with an ounce of humanity would interrogate a woman whose child had disappeared the way Nancy Grace interrogated that mother. The woman may certainly have been "of interest" to those who were responsible for investigating the case, but Nancy is NOT one of those responsible for that. She did what she did for ratings and Melinda's suicide is at least partly on her head. She said what she did about Scott Peterson for the same kinds of reasons. I wonder how she sleeps at night.

What else do you expect from Nancy Grace, a bitter woman who got bullsh*tted for her love and now plays the avenging Darth Vader on CNN. For Grace it's not abut justice, victims or murder victim survivors, for Grace it's only about herself and her neverending greed for revenge- actually she's a poor traumatized woman running amuck-and the nauseating inquisitor-like figure head of the lynchmob movement.

She's not getting any more time on this board....
Let her slime somewhere else.
