Hi Guys, I am really new here! I would like a penpal on dr to brighten their day a little and keep them living in part of the big wide world - my father died in prison and was alone had no one to turn to etc - but where do I start I know that there are addresses at the bottom of the requests but do i just write a letter and stick it in the post or do i need permission?! Please help very confused!!! Also I live in the UK will this make it difficult for the inmates?

Hi Lucia, welcome..... I'm sorry about your father.
As far as writing to someone now, I don't know what you mean by needing permission. I know you have to be 18 or older to correspond with a death row inmate. All the rules and information on that should be able to be found on the webpages here- www.ccadp.org. The only thing that you need to make sure of is if the inmate you decide to write to has an updated address. Many of the ads on ccadp have not been updated recently. You can check out CCADP's ad's or other websites as well for a pen-pal.
